Cover Supervisor
TA3 point 7 - 17 (£20,873 actual salary per annum)
Permanent position, available from September 2024
37 hours per week, term time only plus TEDs

The Stourport High School and VIth College wish to appoint an effective and reliable individual who is an effective Supervisor and has a good rapport with young people to join our school.
The Cover Supervisor will take a positive and proactive approach to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of cover arrangements for staff, ensuring lessons have cover when required. You will also be required to supervise the learning of whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher as they undertake the work set, to ensure ongoing progress to learning. You will need to be flexible in your approach to enable strategies to be tailored to the individual needs of students.
The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate and be able to drive students forward on their educational journey. Understanding their individual needs and collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to put appropriate plans in place with the individual at the heart of everything we do. The postholder will have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to the role and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration ensuring the continual improvement of the quality of students' learning is at the top of the business agenda.
